A Lifetime of Faithful Service

A Lifetime of Faithful Service

Our church family rejoices in giving thanks to God for the ordination to the Holy Priesthood of two faithful and long-serving deacons, Dcn. Joe Calulo and Dcn. Van Restauro.

For over thirty years, these devoted servants of Christ have faithfully ministered as deacons, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the Church, the Gospel, and the people of God. Now, in a remarkable testimony to God’s grace and calling, they have been elevated to the sacred office of Priesthood. Their ordination is a powerful reminder of the words of our Lord: “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Through decades of faithful service, they have answered God’s call with humility, perseverance, and love.

The ordination was solemnly celebrated at CCSJ at Greenhills, and was officiated by Archbishop Lored Thomas Hines. Also present to witness this blessed occasion were Bishop Salvador Tarraya and several members of the clergy, together with family, friends, and members of the faithful who gathered in prayer and thanksgiving.

Though now in their senior years, these men continue to be shining examples of dedication and discipleship. Their elevation to the priesthood stands as an inspiration to all believers, proving that God’s call remains active throughout every season of life.

We warmly welcome Rev. Fr. Jose Calulo and Rev. Fr. Joe Agustin Restauro into the sacred office of Priesthood. May the Lord richly bless their ministry, strengthen them with His grace, and use them mightily for the advancement of His Kingdom.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
