God is speaking to us in many ways. We need to hear that whisper from God. If we look at what’s happening today, it seems that the enemy is winning, but he is not. Our heart cry to God should be, “I praise Thee, Lord of heaven and earth.”

Unfortunately, we have set our own course for our lives instead of listening to God. “Thou does hide these things from the wise and intelligent.” God does not reveal things to the ones who think they know everything or who think they know more than God. When God created everything, it was His plan that things would reproduce by themselves. But man in his own human thinking and knowledge thinks he is better than God. We want to do what we want and in our own way, but many of these things are contrary to God.

God is Lord of heaven and earth. He is the Boss. We cannot do things our own way. This is why the world is in the condition we are in today. God is not against wisdom. He is against the pride behind wisdom. Look at how Christ lived. He took upon Himself the sin of the whole world. He was mocked, ridiculed, beaten. He shed His own blood. He was put to shame and yet He never defended Himself. He did not protest. And what happened? He overcame all these things on the third day. In spite of what He has done for us, why are we bowing down to the world system?

Jesus says, “take my yoke and learn from Me.” God has promised He will not hide these things from us. He has revealed Himself to us. When Jesus sent His disciples out, He anointed and empowered them to be able to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead. God has given us everything. It is our “thinking” part that is our biggest problem. “As a man thinketh, so is he.” Most of us think we can do better, but the Lord says, “Come to Me, you who are weary and heavily laden.” We get into situations where we become so stressed and anxious. God is the source of our lives. He is the one in control. We need to give honor and praise to Him. We are the church if we have a personal relationship with Christ. Christ is our best example. We should be the image of God’s fullness- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is life and He has given that life to us. We are no longer to be bound by sin. He has already paid the penalty of our sin. John 13:15 “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”

1 Corinthians 1:21 “Since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.” We must see the hope in Him. He is the breeze in the midst of the heat. He is our joy.
